Business law

We support businesses at every stage, from choosing a legal form and registering the company to later changes and closure. We work with sole proprietors (FOP), limited liability companies (TOV) and foreign founders setting up in Ukraine.

Most business problems start long before any court: in a charter nobody read, in activity codes chosen at random or in the contract with the first employee. Our job is to find these points before they turn into costs.

Frequently asked questions

Should I start as a sole proprietor or an LLC?

It depends on your income, the number of partners and investment plans. A sole proprietorship is easier to open and run, but the owner is liable for business obligations with all personal property. LLC shareholders generally risk only their contribution, but the company needs more documents and reporting. We compare both options using your numbers.

Can a foreigner be a founder of an LLC in Ukraine?

Yes. A foreign individual or a foreign company can be a founder. An individual will need a Ukrainian tax number, and the ultimate beneficial owner has to be disclosed in the state registry.

Can I register a company without coming to Lviv?

Yes. With a qualified electronic signature part of the steps can be done online. Without one, we act under a notarised power of attorney.
