We also review older contracts. The Commercial Code of Ukraine ceased to be in force on 28 August 2025, so clauses on penalties, prices and deadlines that rely on it are worth updating.
Frequently asked questions
Can a contract be signed electronically?
Yes. A qualified electronic signature has the same legal force as a handwritten one. With foreign partners other methods agreed in the contract are often sufficient.
Is a contract in English enough?
With a foreign counterparty the parties can choose the language. Ukrainian banks and authorities often ask for a translation, so it is easier to sign a bilingual contract from the start and state which version prevails.
How much does a contract review cost and how long does it take?
It depends on length and complexity. After a first look we confirm the fee and timing before any work begins.
